The MDes is all about YOU
Founded upon the basis of sound thinking and an appreciation of the complexity of knowledge, the emphasis of the Master of Design programme is placed upon YOU as an individual and professional designer. How will YOU define your own future, how does that fit with the future of design or the future of the company YOU work for? On this programme YOU strengthen your existing practice by situating it in a professional context and to generate new work within a negotiated programme of learning supported by experienced academic and technical staff.
With emphasis on strategic and reflective thinking and practice, the programme is intended for those who aspire to become leaders in their field, to establish their own practice or to develop an idea into a sustainable and realistic entity with the School’s own specialist art & design incubation unit. The programme is intended for graduates from any design or related discipline who aspire to become leaders in their field, to establish their own practice or to develop an idea into a sustainable and realistic entity by working with our School’s own specialist art & design incubation unit. We welcome applications from those who are already employed in design and related career fields. Though the programme runs in full-time mode it is specifically designed to enable you to build any professional work or employment that you have into your studies.
