Sport and Exercise Medicine
Entry requirements
Applications are welcome from prospective students who hold a medical degree or allied health sciences degree (e.g. physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, podiatry, sports rehabilitation, sports therapy, nursing).
All applicants need to be registered with the relevant regulatory health body (e.g. GMC, CSP, HCPC, GOsC, GCC, HPC, BASRAT, Society of Sports Therapists, NMC).
Applicants should also have a minimum of one-year post-graduation clinical experience and have work experience within the field of sport and/or exercise medicine, which should be demonstrated in their personal statement.

Course content
This unique RCGP accredited postgraduate programme seeks to educate medical doctors, chartered physiotherapists and osteopaths in the field of sport and exercise medicine. During the programme you will be lectured by highly qualified experts in sport and exercise medicine and sport and exercise science on the latest academic and practical developments in the field. The postgraduate programme provides students with a wide breadth of knowledge across sport and exercise medicine and the necessary skills to apply theory into practice.
