Entry requirements will normally consist of a minimum of an upper second class Honours degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Where relevant an applicant's work experience will also be taken into account and each applications is assessed individually.

Course content

The MSc in Business Strategy & Entrepreneurship is designed for graduates seeking a rigorous foundation prior to launching their own company or entering an existing corporation in a role focused on business development and growth.

The programme will provide students with the required skills via a combination of teaching methods covering knowledge about best business practices, as well as cover the fundamental principles behind them. Building on these skills, students will also have the opportunity to create a new venture. The development of this new venture will be supported by academic faculty as well as a corporate sponsor or entrepreneur.

Information for international students

Applicants whose first language is not English must satisfy the English Language requirements for entry to the university by attainment of a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS, with a subscore of 5.5 in each individual paper.

Fees and funding

This course is included in the Masters Excellence Scholarship 2015 (Pathway to PhD) scheme. If you are looking at applying for a Masters degree with the intention of going on to study at PhD level then you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The application will ask you to consider your research area and future sources of funding. It is recognised, however, that in making this application there is not a commitment to undertake further study, or to undertake further studies at Cardiff University.
