Entry requirements

Either a 2.1 Honours degree or a Masters degree with a distinction in the research dissertation, in computing or a related subject. Degree-level Mathematics (or equivalent) is required for research in some project areas. Applicants with appropriate professional experience are also considered.

  • The group has a number of laboratories, including a regional GRID node, and contributes its knowledge and expertise to local, large-scale High Performance Computing (HPC) facilities. These computing resources are used to further develop and support its research.

Information for international students

Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the language. Minimum requirements of 6.5 IELTS overall with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and a minimum of 6.0 in speaking, listening and reading
