First or upper second class UK Honours degree in an appropriate subject. Suitable for graduates in Ancient History, Classics and Classical Archaeology, Religious Studies and related humanities and social science disciplines.

Course content

Under the auspices of the Cardiff Centre for Late Antique Religion and Culture, examine Late Antiquity and the Byzantine empire in tandem, or specialise in your preferred sphere.

This specialist programme draws on our leading mix of expertise spanning late antique and Byzantine history, culture and religion.

Information for international students

Students whose first language is not English will be required to pass an IELTS test (minimum 6.5) or equivalent.
