Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a lower second class honours degree or the equivalent from an international institution in an appropriate discipline, or a Certificate of Competence as Master or Chief Engineer: Class 1 Master Mariner or Class 1 Engineer and experience in one of these roles, Industry experience in positions of responsibility is considered, The selection process may include an interview. Other Suitable Qualifications: Kaplan International College (KIC) London: Additionally, the University works in partnership with KIC London to provide preparatory courses for international students. Foundation and Pre Masters courses at KIC London offer comprehensive support to students including regular one-to-one tuition. Progression to the University is guaranteed if you complete the KIC London course at the required level.

MSc Maritime Operations and Management is designed for existing professionals serving both at sea and onshore, and those looking for a career within the maritime and sea transport industries. Alternatively if you are a new entrant, then you are likely to have attained a first degree in a related technical or management subject.
