Entry requirements

The course is open to professionally qualified occupational therapists. Applicants must hold an honours degree or a diploma in occupational therapy and provide evidence of continuing professional development.

The general requirements for admissions are in line with University policy. Entry requirements are that candidates will normally hold the equivalent of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy, or a relevant professional qualification.

This brand new master’s in Occupational Therapy is the perfect vehicle through which occupational therapists can develop and enhance their advanced clinical practice, specialist knowledge and skills in order to enhance their career in the health and social care sectors.

This MSc has been designed to specifically develop advanced practice at the individual practitioner level, the service or provider level and also at the professional level, to develop your ability to become a future leader and influencer within occupational therapy. Its aims and content have been mapped to Health Education England’s Multi Professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice (2017).
