A good undergraduate degree. This course is aimed primarily at law graduates, legal practitioners (solicitors and barristers) from the UK and other jurisdictions, and politics and business graduates with some knowledge of law.

Law has been taught at Coventry University for nearly 50 years and we benefit from high levels of student satisfaction, 93% in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2016. Building on existing legal knowledge and experience, this course aims to help you to acquire a general knowledge of international law and legal regulation with the opportunity to choose from a large number of specialist international law modules, in areas such as business, human rights and corporate crime.

There will be opportunities for you to develop analytical, critical, communication and presentational skills, much valued by employers. It is an ideal entry route into careers in law teaching and research, government service, the judiciary, international organisations, non-governmental organisations and private practice.
