Entry requirements
The standard entry requirement for this course is a good honours first degree – at least a minimum of second class honours or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline area. These could be business or management studies, law, oil and gas or international relations. Other discipline areas or relevant work experience may also be considered for entry on a case-by-case basis and an interview may be required.

For existing professionals or those seeking to enter this fast-paced and dynamic sector, our course aims to provide an understanding of the many challenges faced by the oil, gas and energy industry.
We focus on the interpretation, evaluation and communication of legal issues which may arise in a wide range of circumstances, including risk management, international business, the environmental impacts of the energy industry and corporate social responsibility.
In an ever-evolving society with increasing environmental awareness, the energy industry is under increased scrutiny and growing pressure to adapt, developing new solutions and cleaner fuels.
You may get opportunities to network with professionals from companies which have previously included, British Petroleum, British Gas and the National Grid, undertake an internship and participate in research-based assignments responding to live industry briefs.
