Entry requirements

You will normally be expected to hold an undergraduate 2.2 honours degree, or equivalent, in a science or management-based subject, although applications are welcomed from mature students with relevant work experience. Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.

This course is offered to give flexibility to students enabling you to develop specialist skills that will support a wide range of potential career paths in your chosen industry. Topics may be selected to suit both the student's and a company's requirements making this an ideal MSc degree for those seeking future employment and those currently employed in the engineering industry. You can choose from a series of modules which will be appropriate for you and your employer.

Academic staff will assist you in choosing the best topics from a comprehensive list of options.

Engineering and manufacturing industries have many areas of specialism for which you can develop expertise on this MSc course.

You will study:

In addition to the above modules, you will choose 4 topics from the optional module list. Those in pursuit of a new career can choose modules to suit their career ambition while those currently employed can choose modules based on their employer's requirement.

Fees and funding

For Coventry University graduates there is an alumni discount of £500, there are also Postgraduate Merit Scholarships available to UK students of £1000 towards tuition fees - please visit website for more information and criteria
