Entry requirements

To enter the course you need to have one of the following: A good honours degree or an equivalent qualification A relevant professional qualification of equivalent standard eg, BCS Professional Graduate Diploma, CEng, CIM Diploma An unclassified degree plus at least two years further study or professional experience Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.

Course content


This course is designed to equip graduates of any discipline with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the rapidly expanding field of information technology.

You will develop an understanding of information systems and database systems, the technology available to support management decision-making, the role of the internet and communications technology, and the issues facing IT managers in small, medium and large organisations.
