You must have an undergraduate degree in a mechanical or automotive related subject. Those with equivalent professioncal backgrounds may also apply. Applicants whose first language is not English must have a minimum IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 600 or equivalent.

What will I learn?
This course includes mandatory and free choice modules covering important related subject areas mechanical engineering design, stress and dynamics, thermofluid dynamics, manufacturing processes and materials, control and project management. The use of physical testing and computer aided engineering in the mechanical engineering design and development process is also covered.
Students will study core mechanical sciences along with:
- project management,
- computer aided engineering.
Participants will also undertake a group mechanical design exercise and an individual project.
