Course content

The Geographical Information Management programme is unique in providing a balanced coverage of the key GIS technologies. The course is taught to small groups by experts and the ratio of staff to students is one of the best available anywhere. Courses are not isolated from the real world and many are supported by research groups working on cutting-edge programmes. Our aim is to prepare you, whether coming from university or industry, for a challenging career in one of the growing range of industrial and research sectors that now routinely make use of the GI technologies. To enable this you will need to develop specialist skills, acquire experience of spatial problem solving and develop a range of personal skills.
