Entry requirements

A Candidate shall normally: possess a UK honours degree with at least 2nd class honours, or an academic or professional qualification which the Higher Degrees Committee deems to be equivalent; demonstrate competence in the use of English language to the satisfaction of the Higher Degrees Committee.

Course content

Computing Sciences and Engineering at the University is a diverse, exciting and hugely interdisciplinary area of study. Strong links with commerce ensure research is geared towards real-life challenges, and projects cover subjects as diverse as medical diagnostics, robotics, satellite mapping, home security, 3D television, aircraft manufacturing and safety, mobile communication and alternative systems.
