Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements: - Bachelor degree in different discipline or - Bachelor degree in related discipline (with entry credit) or - Masters degree or - Graduate certificate in related discipline or - Graduate certificate in different discipline and 5 years relevant work experience^ or - Deakin Business and Law Postgraduate Qualifying Program (PQP) applicants must have successfully completed all four PQP units and achieved a minimum credit grade of 60 per cent for each discipline-based unit undertaken. ^ Relevant professional experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of sport management or related fields. English Language requirement: IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6) or equivalent

The Master of Business (Sport Management) develops a comprehensive understanding of the integration of business disciplines in the effective management of sport and the leadership to provide effective management and direction to sporting organisations.

Whether it is at the elite, semi-elite or recreational levels, sport management at Deakin will prepare you to deliver on this strategic dimension of the industry, in such areas as finance, marketing, management or development.
