Entry requirements

Bachelor degree in the same discipline area (ie. any major sequence in the field of Education, whether or not it is an initial teacher qualification) OR Bachelor degree in any discipline area plus a Graduate Certificate in the Education discipline area. Deakin University offers admission to postgraduate courses through a number of Admission categories. In all categories of admission, selection is based primarily on academic merit as indicated by an applicant's previous academic record. English Language: IELTS band score of 7 with no band less than 6.5

Graduates of this course will possess an understanding of contemporary education issues and discourses; have high-level critical and evaluative skills; will be able to translate into practice their experiences and understandings of the program; and will have demonstrated their ability to undertake educational research projects.
