The MSc in Computing (Data Analytics) is a specialist post-graduate programme run by the Dublin Institute of Technology Schools of Computing and Mathematical Sciences designed to create hybrid technologists to work in the growing and important area of data analytics. Data analytics is the science of extracting actionable insight from large amounts of raw data. Hybrid technologists are graduates equipped with deep technical skills (in data management, data mining, probability and statistics, and machine learning), but also with the softer skills (in communications, research and problem solving) required to work effectively within organisations.
