Entry requirements

The minimum admission requirement for entry to the programme is an Honours Bachelors degree (level 8) in a non computer science discipline and English language certification of at least IELTS level 5.5 overall with a minimum of IELTS level 5.0 in all components, or equivalent.

Course content

The International Pre Masters for the MSc in Computing is a one year programme designed to provide an entry path for international computer science graduates to the MSc in Computing programme at the DIT.

The aim is to prepare the students for the demands of a taught Masters programme. A key objective is to develop the student’s English language skills and bring them to a level appropriate for study at Masters level. The programme also aims to provide students the opportunity, through the medium of English, to enhance their existing computer science knowledge base.
