In general, applicants are required to have an honours degree (minimum 2.2) in a business or cognate area or an equivalent professional business qualification such as in Accountancy, Marketing etc. Other graduates, who have appropriate experience of the sector, may also be considered in certain circumstances.

Aimed primarily at business graduates or holders of equivalent professional qualifications this part-time masters programme is aimed at those working in retail or services organisations who want to deepen their understanding of retail business processes and broaden their perspective on retail management with a view to improving their career prospects.

Offered over five semesters, students take thirteen modules which are delivered on one afternoon/early evening a week, a full Themed Week On-campus in late January and an International Retailing Study Tour in June of the first year and a Research focused on-campus week in late January of the second year.
