Entry requirements

In order to be admitted to the course students must have an appropriate honours (2.2 grade or higher) degree, normally have a minimum of five years relevant experience in a professional capacity, have an ability to demonstrate a current position in employment that is relevant to spatial planning and a willingness by their employer to make time available to attend the course and to assign tasks in such a way that the student can link current work experience to the material covered in the course.

Course content

This course provides an opportunity for existing professionals who work in the area of the Built Environment to become professional planners. Through a modular delivery of lectures, tutorials and seminars, including the successful completiono of a dissertation, students can obtain a planning qualification.
