Entry requirements

Entry requirements for the MA include a BA in Philosophy or suitably related discipline, upper second class or equivalent; entry requirements for the PhD and MLitt include a MA in Philosophy or suitably related discipline.

Course content

Assessment methods include progress monitoring by a Supervisory Team followed by submission and examination of the thesis via Oral examination

Information for international students

English language requirements include an overall band score of at least 7.0 in the IELTS test (with no element below 6.5) or at least 102 in the TOEFL iBT (Internet Based Test) (with no element under 25), achieved within two years of the programme start date.
