Entry requirements for the MPhil and MA include an Honours degree 2:1 or First at BA level or equivalent; entry requirements for the PhD include a Masters degree in an appropriate subject or its equivalent.
Months of entry
Course contentAll PhD programmes are assessed by submission of a 100,000 word thesis and an oral examination. All MPhil programmes are assessed by submission of a 60,000 word thesis and an oral examination. All MA by Research programmes are assessed by submission of a 40,000 word thesis (no oral examination).
Information for international students
English language requirements include an IELTS total of 7.0 (with no component within that score lower than 6.5) OR TOEFL 102 (with no component within that score lower than 25).
