Entry requirements

You should have a degree equivalent to UK first-class or upper second-class honours (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject. Applications will also be considered from those with a degree in an alternative subject area or equivalent professional experience.

Developed with industry partners and informed by the best critical thinkers in television production management, this course will enable graduates and industry professionals to gain expertise in the latest developments in production management practice. Whether you're taking an initial step into the exciting world of film, television and creative arts, or want to take your existing career in the industry to the next level, you will become an agent of real change in production management, equipped with a skillset based on professional practice and critical analysis. You will gain professional skills in production management, including budgeting, scheduling and casting, as well as managing people, locations and studio settings. The course will also equip you with key transferable skills including research, presentation, communication, time management and independent study. You will graduate as an informed practitioner with a keen awareness of key developments in the television, film and media industries, from the drive to sustainable production practices to more equitable working patterns.
