To join this PGCE you should have: first degree from a UK higher education institution or equivalent qualification; degree classification usually at 2:2 or above (exceptions may be made); GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent qualification); satisfactory levels of ICT competence; demonstrable interest in teaching within the curriculum area. You will be required to meet the Department for Children, Schools and Families standards for physical and mental fitness to teach and clearance to work with children. QTS Skills Tests will form part of the entry requirements for academic year 2013/14.
