Course content

The MA in Clinical Education is a modular course which aims to improve teaching skills and develop a critical understanding of how individuals learn in a clinical environment. The programme will be run on a multi-professional basis, allowing practitioners from different professions and specialities to share their knowledge, experience and skills.

The programme is designed for a range of health professionals (medical doctors, dentists, nurses and allied health professionals) who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in teaching and supporting learning and the assessment or evaluation of teaching.

Increasingly, health professionals are expected to have undertaken preparation for this role, as indicated by professional bodies such as the General Medical Council and the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and this course will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills required to fulfill this responsibility.
