Entry requirements
To join this programme, you should have a first class or upper second class honours degree in a cognate subject area or discipline. In exceptional circumstances, students with a lower second class honours degree classification may be admitted.

Course content
- Develop the critical research, appraisal and project management skills required to undertake, manage and deliver research in health and social care settings;
- Immerse yourself in the range of research methods which are essential to conduct applied health and social care research at an advanced level;
- Become part of a vibrant research community and receive support and supervision from research-active experts in your choice of subject specialism.
This MHealth Res focuses on the production of a substantial piece of work in a chosen specialist area of interest which is negotiated upon entry to the course.
The programme will equip you with extensive knowledge and understanding of the research process, research methods and methodologies. You will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate a deep and advanced knowledge of your specialist topic of study and evidence-based practice while engaging in independent research practice to a high standard.
This will ultimately translate into you designing, delivering and evaluating a research project from inception to successful completion, with the support and guidance of experts in healthcare practice.
