Entry requirements

The normal minimum requirement is an undergraduate medical degree. You should be a doctor practising at grade ST3 or higher (or equivalent) . You should also be registered as a professional with the General Medical Council.

Course content

The Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Leadership is a collaborative programme between Edge Hill University and the Royal College of Physicians. If you are a senior registrar, new consultant, or general practitioner seeking to take greater responsibility within your organisation, this programme will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to enable you to focus upon your own role as a leader and successfully plan and implement change in practice.

Fees and funding

Fee Tuition fees for this Postgraduate Certificate are £2,500 for the entire programme for UK and EU students enrolling in academic year 2018/19.

Assessment

You will be required to demonstrate your learning through written assignments which will include the production of a reflective portfolio, a project proposal, and critical analysis of implemented programmes.
