You will normally be expected to hold an Honours (2.2) degree. If you have an Ordinary degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience you may also be admitted. It is not necessary, though desirable, to have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law. Other qualifications with appropriate experience may also be considered.
Months of entry
The programme is studied full-time over one year of three trimesters. You will learn by a variety of teaching methods including lectures, tutorials and independent study.
You will study:
You will be required to undertake three compulsory modules in your first trimester - Financial Management; Financial Markets, Institutions & Banking; and International Economic Law.
Your second trimester will involve two compulsory modules - Investment, Corporate Finance & Portfolios; and Management of Financial Risk - and you will choose one option module.
The third trimester is composed of the Research Methods module and a Dissertation.
