Entry requirements

The entry requirement for this course is a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or a CIPD Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development (equivalent to 120 credits at SCQF Level 11).

Course content

The MSc in HRM (Blended) Top-up is a nine month programme which aims to develop knowledge, competencies and professional skills that help learners address the challenges facing modern organisations. It is solely focused on the completion of a Masters dissertation allowing you time to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise around research methods and your dissertation topic.

The taught parts of this course will take place in London Kings College.

The programme underlines the importance of practice-based learning and research by enabling you to investigate an HR issue that is located in a real work situation.

Edinburgh Napier University has been supporting students to undertake the MSc in Human Resource Management (HRM) for over 25 years. During that time the University has received commendations of good practice from the UK professional body, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), for their innovative and rigorous approach to design and delivery of the dissertation.
