You will need to have an honours degree, at least two thirds of which was software engineering based, or a lesser qualification with relevant work experience. You should also be competent in object oriented design and a programming language such as C++ or Java.
Months of entry
Course contentIf you choose to study full-time, you'll take three modules per trimester, for the first two trimesters. With the part-time option, only 1-2 modules are studied per trimester.
Advanced Software Development, Programming for the Web, Advanced Application Programming
Successful completion of these modules will qualify you for a Postgraduate Certificate.
Group Project, plus two optional modules from Management of Software Projects, e-Security, Emergent Computing for Optimisation or Parallel Applications Programming.
Successful completion of these modules will qualify you for a Postgraduate Diploma.
MSc Dissertation - completion will qualify you for a Masters Degree.
