Entry requirements

You'll need an Honours degree in an Engineering, Science, Maths or other numerate discipline, or a lower level qualification in a numerate subject together with appropriate experience.

Course content

You'll become a competent and resourceful timber engineer, equipped with the relevant training in analysis, design and assessment of timber structural systems.

This both satisfies the needs of the timber industry and meets the academic requirements appropriate for chartered membership of the Institute of Civil Engineers and Institution of Structural Engineers. This means you will not only graduate with a postgraduate degree but a highly respected professional qualification
