Due to the applied nature of this course you will already need to be working in a substantive teaching and learning, course development, consultancy or other appropriate role within tertiary education. This ensures the relevance of the course to you and provides a means to learn by actually applying online and blended methods to your work.
Months of entry
Course contentThis is a distance learning course is taught part-time and online. You will learn mainly through independent study and research but will have close contact with tutors and peers.
Three core modules are studied:
-Introduction to Blended and Online Education
-Supporting the Blended and Online Student Experience
-Curriculum Design and Development for Blended and Online Learning.
You will have the opportunity to receive credit for previous qualifications and experience and choose modules which relate to your work.
You will undertake a focused industry relevant piece of research in an area of your choice.
