ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. a first academic degree
  2. at least eight years of work experience
  3. significant professional experience, including disciplinary and/or budgetary responsibilities
  4. experience in an international work environment
  5. excellent command of the English language
  6. the support of your employer and his or her permission to attend classes on workdays
  7. the motivation to invest a substantial amount of time and effort into our highly challenging but also very rewarding

Facilities and support arrangements

The ESSEC Learning Center, which includes the library, is both a physical space on the Cergy Campus and a virtual portal, which provides access to:

  • 60,000 books referenced in the library catalog and several hundreds eBooks.
  • 600 print journal titles and near 15,000 online journal titles.

Fees, funding and cost

  • EMBA Modular Track: €49,500 (excl. VAT)
  • EMBA Weekend Track: €47,500 (excl. VAT)

Location

ESSEC Executive Education’s Campus is located in the business quarter of La Défense, in Paris. It is one of the locations where EMBA participants will have classes. They will also be attending classes at our partner business school in Mannheim and throughout the year they will travel to North America, Singapour and another location in Asia during residencies in order to discover other ways of doing business and become global leaders.

Accommodation

The EMBA Managers will assist you to find the right accommodation according to the track you have decided to choose.

Modular Track: one week of classes every six weeks (Wednesday to Wednesday)
Weekend Track: Fridays and Saturdays every two weeks

Culture

The ESSEC Executive Education campus, located in the business quarter of La Défense in Paris is accessible by bus, tramway and subway. In 10 minutes, you can access the Paris centre and enjoy all the cultural opportunities the Paris offers.

You may also choose to remain in La Défense, a hub of business opportunities, with an extensive shopping mall 2 minutes away from the Campus.

How to apply

The Common process for both tracks

  • Optional coaching session to determine your professional project.
  • Application form with the list of required documents (i.e. TOEIC results)
  • Application Review by ESSEC Executive Education
  • Admission Interview with the Academic Director

Modular Track Admission Schedule

  • 14 September, 2015: deadline to apply to one of the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA scholarships
  • 7 October, 2015: Start of classes

Weekend Track Admission Schedule

  • January, 2016: All applications to the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA delivered before or at this date will benefit from a €2,500 (excl. VAT) discount on the total fee of the program.
  • February, 2016: deadline to apply to one of the ESSEC & Mannheim Executive MBA scholarships
  • March, 2016: Start of classes
