Course content

The Executive Msc Health Economics, Outcmes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences is a joint collaboration between the European Heart Academy of ESC and London School of Economics (LSE)

The programme consists of eight modules and one MSc dissertation over two academic years. On-site modules are taught two weeks in December and two weeks in June, each year, at the London School of Economics (LSE) in London. In addition to time spent in the classroom, students will also be expected to complete coursework from a distance.

  • Quality and Outcomes in Cardiovascular Sciences
  • Economic Analysis for Health Policy
  • Economic Evaluation in Health Care
  • Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Year 2

  • Cardiovascular Epidemiology and Prevention
  • Dissertation in Health Economics, Outcomes, and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences
  • Students will choose three additional courses from a range of options

Information for international students

The ESC supports the education of future leaders in cardiovascular medicine by offering 15 scholarships of £15,500/programme for the December 2017 entry. Applications for the ESC scholarships are now closed.

Tuition fees include:

  • pre-registration fee
