UK Honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in an appropriate computer science or cognate discipline or a UK Honours degree (or equivalent) in a science or engineering discipline together with Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Course content

In the current business environment, network infrastructures are subject to an increasing range of threats to network security, integrity and service provision. The aim of the MSc Network Security programme is to provide students with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to pursue careers as network security professionals. It is concerned with the design, implementation & administration of network security infrastructures and includes an examination of the methods, techniques, tools and technologies used to develop such infra-structures.

Academic IELTS score of 6.0 with no single element below 5.5; or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements, you may be eligible for the English for University Study programme. Scholarships available
