Course content

As global energy consumption increases, the oil and gas industry is challenged to continually adapt to increased levels demand, evolving industry regulation and changing perceptions within society.

With demand for oil and gas industry specialists in many regions exceeding supply the industry offers excellent employment prospects. In response to the increasing demand, GCU has launched the following oil and gas Masters programmes:

MSc Applied Instrumentation and Control (Oil and Gas)

MSc Energy and Environmental Management (Oil and Gas)

MSc Information Technology (Oil and Gas)

MSc International Project Management (Oil and Gas)

MSc Maintenance Management (Oil and Gas)

MSc Risk Management (Oil and Gas) - delivered by Glasgow School of Business and Society

Developed in conjunction with industry, these Masters provide graduates with the multi-faceted skill set needed to secure employment and career advancement in the oil and gas industry.

Information for international students

English Language: IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet the English language requirements, you may be eligible for the English for University Study programme. Scholarships available
