Entry requirements

UK Honours degree minimum 2:2 (or equivalent) in an urban environment (e.g. urban planning, architecture) or environmental disciplines (e.g. environmental sciences, geography, environmental management, environmental/civil engineering) or other relevant degrees. Candidates with appropriate experience may be considered through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Course content

The explosive urban growth in our times coupled with the challenges posed by a changing climate emphasise the need for experts and professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and skills to lead the management of urban environments in a sustainable and climate-sensitive manner.

The aim of the MSc in Sustainable Urban Environments is to produce high calibre postgraduates who are equipped with skills and knowledge to assess and manage climate change in the urban environment in a sustainable manner.

Information for international students

IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5. If you do not meet the English language requirements, you may be eligible for the English for University Study programme. Scholarships available
