Providing postgraduate study opportunities for practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds, this programme builds knowledge and skills that are directly relevant to public health practice.
A particular strength of the MSc Public Health programme at GCU is that the curriculum and associated activities actively develop your skills and knowledge to enable you to apply public health theory in a social action context at local, national and international levels.
Modules have been designed to enable practitioners to improve the health and well-being of the population, prevent disease and minimise its consequences, prolong life and reduce inequalities in health. Delivered via a blended approach, lectures and seminars are supported with online activity.
The programme is also distinctive in that members of the wider programme team are active contributors to world-class public health research and have established close working relationships with local and international communities.
