Course content

The MPhil in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship programme integrates entrepreneurship within the development of creative practices in order to develop new business/career ideas within the creative sector and to establish the infrastructure required to support new creative enterprises.

This MPhil is delivered in partnership between Trinity College Dublin and the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths.

The programme is designed to allow students to continue to innovate, but also to provide the requisite business/entrepreneurial skills and attributes to commercialise on their creative and cultural practices and knowledge.

You'll be able to build on a historical and theoretical understanding of cultural and creative industries and the development of a cultural economy in order to create your own creative initiatives, which could be research-based, policy-based, practice-based, or a combination of any or all of these.

You will also learn how to develop an independence and integrity in developing creative ideas to be underpinned by effective team-working, leadership and communication skills. And you'll be encouraged to apply entrepreneurial approaches to creative projects and demonstrate an understanding of different business models to establish a creative enterprise.

Applications are invited from graduates in all disciplines who want to apply entrepreneurial processes and theories in order to develop sustainable careers or enterprises.
