Course content

This MSc or PG Diploma programme Business Information Management aims to impart understanding and skills in information management and IT with a focus on business. It covers the organisation and development of businesses, information systems and IT. It also addresses management and design issues for them. Students can specialise in areas like e-commerce, online learning and IT project management. The programme studies IT, but does not require students to design programs or write software.

Graduates can expect to find employment as IT consultants, IT systems integrators, web developers, IT operations analysts, courseware developers, IT entrepreneurs, IT business analysts, information officers, e-business consultants or IT project managers, or as research associates or research students within universities.

Information for international students

The minimum requirement for English language is IELTS overall 6.0 (with no score lower than 5.5 in any individual category). or equivalent. We also offer a range of pre-sessional English language courses to help you meet the English language requirement prior to starting your masters programme.
