To be admitted, you must meet one of the following requirements: (a) Bachelor’s degree (Netherlands: HBO) or equivalent, or (b) 3 years of professional career experience in the (sport) industry. Note: Experience as an elite athlete is not required for this program, but having developed a career as a professional athlete will be valued as work experience, depending level and commitment. The admission procedure includes a personal interview with the Program Manager, to make sure that personal and professional achievements, as well as your aspirations and motivations in pursuing the Master’s degree, are in line with the objectives of the program. Admitted participants will be notified by mail along with further instructions for the enrolment procedure.

Turn your passion for sport into your profession
The Master in Sports Management at the Johan Cruyff Institute Amsterdam is a 10 month program that explores the most important aspects of management applied to sport. The classes are given by experts from the sport sector that combine business consultancy and/or sport with teaching. In addition we organize Master Classes by guest speakers from key positions within different areas of the sports industry, student visits and study trips that will enrich your experience. This Master will give you the chance to expand your contacts within the international world of sports, which might be very useful for networking.
