Course content

The MA Global Media and Culture is a modular, taught Master's programme It focuses on the study of media and culture in an international context especially in the areas of postcolonialism and globalization. The programme is taught by staff working in Media, Communications and Culture and other disciplines such as English, Sociology, Film Studies, American Studies, Geography and Visual Arts.

The MA is organized into core and optional modules that include research methods, globalization, postcolonial fiction and film, cultural and media theory, and practical media production.

Information for international students

For Overseas students for whom English is not the first language, an IELTS score of at least 6.5 is required.
