Entry requirements
The PG Cert in Ethics and Palliative Care is open to professionals in the palliative care sector. Applicants for whom English is not a first language must provide evidence of a qualification in English Language, unless they hold a previous degree that was taught and examined in English. The minimum score for entry is academic ILETS 6.5 (with not subtest below 5.5) or equivalent.

This Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) is designed for hospice, palliative health and social care professionals to gain an advanced understanding of the ethical problems in palliative care, without having to undertake a full Masters degree.
Major advances in medical technology, increased expectations, and changing moral attitudes have combined to generate many complex ethical problems in palliative care. This programme provides a deeper and systematic understanding of these ethical problems which those working in palliative care face in their professionals roles.
