Entry requirements

The course is open to graduates who do not hold a qualifying degree in Law. Evidence of academic ability equivalent to at least a 2nd-class degree will normally be required.

Course content

This course uses small-group teaching to assist students in their learning of the requisite areas of law. The course content includes a number of legal research and practice skills, for instance interviewing and advocacy.

Information for international students

Those wishing to practise in an overseas jurisdiction should enquire of the authorities in that jurisdiction whether the CPE qualifications are recognised as satisfying the academic stage.
