2:1 undergraduate degree in law, a related discipline, or be a qualified barrister or solicitor.

Applications from candidates who have achieved a comparable academic level through past studies and where previous study, work or experience has made the applicant a suitable candidate for admission may also be considered.

Course content

Our EU Competition Law programme focuses on the constituent provisions of EU Competition Law: Articles 101, 102, 106, 107, 108, 109 and the Merger Regulation. You will also study joint ventures, cartels, distribution agreements and licences of intellectual property rights. The remaining modules deal with particular problems of EU Competition Law procedure and enforcement.

The EU Competition Law MA is only open to students who have successfully completed EU Competition Law Postgraduate diploma at merit level. Students on this programme are required to write a dissertation under supervision.
