A first class or 2:1 first degree in medicine, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, physiology or pharmacology, or overseas equivalent.
Months of entry
The division focuses on basic mechanisms that underlie the genesis, propagation and sequelae of airways inflammation, an understanding of the mechanisms of anti-inflammatory drug action and management of the very ill patient at the bedside. The critical mass in the division creates a synergy not otherwise possible and offers opportunities for interactions while still preserving scientific independence.
