Bachelor's degree with 2:1 honours (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant subject. A 2:2 degree may be considered only where applicants also offer a Master's degree with Merit or above.

Members of the Medical Educaiton Division are involved in educational research linked to the delivery of the undergraduate medical degree curriculum. Staff research interests include the evaluation of various feedback nad assessment mechanisms and processes, advances in e-learning, the role of clinical simulation settings and other innovative elements of curriculum delivery. Completmentary areas of interest focus on issues such as the relationship between personal and academic characteristics and levels of student attainment.
