Gain expertise in many important areas of security at the digital level, including networks, software, machines and applications with online Cybersecurity Certificate . Students will also learn basic cryptography and data security and detect criminal acts with computer forensics. Our part-time, asynchronous program can be completed in just six months. The nine credits earned through the certificate program can be applied towards the University’s online MS in Computer Science program. While earning the certificate, you'll explore master's-level curriculum taught by experienced and diverse faculty. You'll also be able to network with students in the master's program. The program is taught by experienced faculty and designed to provide advanced training for IT professionals. In this program, students will explore up-to-date and practical technologies and methods used daily in cybersecurity.

The program prepares students with practical knowledge to work as effectively in the growing field of cybersecurity. The 3 required courses in this program will provide valuable skills from detecting data breaches to learning the theory behind cybersecurity.
