Applicants must have an MSc in Construction Law or one which contains a substantial element of construction law or must be a construction solicitor with at least 5 years post qualification construction law experience.

Construction law is a highly specialised field, often requiring the services of specialist barristers. If you have a masters in construction law or you are working as a construction solicitor, this course will assist you in the correct preparation of pleadings, reducing your reliance on counsel.
You will be taught by experts in the sector, including construction barristers, construction mediators and chartered arbitrators. Learning from their expertise, you will develop the specialist knowledge required to draft pleadings that can be used in construction dispute claims. You will be encouraged to share your own experiences from the workplace allowing you to put your learning into context and to make it specific to your own needs.
Taught over one or two weekends, the course will enable you to fit your learning around your working life.
