Entry requirements

You should have at least a 2:2 honours degree in a related subject or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment. IELTS: 6.0 with no skill below 5.5 (or equivalent).

Course content

Be part of a lively popular music research community that embraces everything from metal music to film scores, with the opportunity to work alongside performers, composers and studio experts.

You will join peers from backgrounds in cultural studies, music and the creative arts to explore today’s local live music scene and its connection to the wider industry. From researching local gigs and events, to composing scores for film and television, you will discover how a variety of communities collide to create this vibrant and expanding scene.
